Peter's Wife site

Many have asked where the name Peter's Wife came from. I Cor. 9:5 mentions Peter had a wife and Mark 1: 30 mentions Peter's mother-in-law. He didn't have a mother-in-law without a wife. So we know Peter had a wife, but we know nothing else about her. Everyone knows Peter, but no one knows his wife. So many women serving outside their home culture feel that way. "Everyone knows my ‘Peter,’ but no one knows me."

"Everyone knows my ‘Peter,’ but no one knows me."

Peter's Wife is a service to women living outside their home culture. We began, in 1986, with a newsletter mailed to women all over the world. It continued for 10 years until the printing and postage became too costly, we stopped for a while. Then in May, 2000 we resumed as an email newsletter. Shortly afterwards we began our first web site. In August, 2002 we launched forums. All ways to help women living cross culturally to connect and help each other.

Because this newsletter goes to some ladies in sensitive areas, from time to time you will see the abbreviation PW used in the newsletter. Please remember that stands for those who serve as we serve. We want to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves. (If you have further questions about this, please feel free to write to me personally and I will answer you in more detail.)

Many months the newsletter contains the topic for the following month's letter. This gives opportunity for Peter's Wife readers to send their comments to be incorporated in the next newsletter.

We look forward to hearing from you. Join our Newsletter list by completing the form on Join Our List

Blessings!
Diane
